Member Spotlight: Auerbach International
For almost three decades, Auerbach International has expanded its clients into countries and cultures by translating anything written, spoken or in electronic from into over 80 languages with rapid, guaranteed accuracy and outstanding personal service.
Clients worldwide include Google, Twitter, the Warriors, Disney, US Attorneys’ Offices, the USDA, the SFPD, the California Public Health Department, Hornblower, BART, Bayer, Wells Fargo and Toyota. Auerbach linguists have master’s degrees or equivalents; speak technical, business and government subjects; work only into their native language; and acculturate concepts, not just words.
Founder Philip Auerbach has visited over 55 countries, speaks French and Japanese and has studied eight other languages, and leads an interfaith dialog group. He advises clients on intercultural communications and how to avoid unintentional and damaging gaffes.
In late 2018, Philip turned his energy to advancing and enabling NGOs’ missions worldwide. He starts with addressing the three reasons most non-profits fail: General Lack of Public Engagement, Performance Gap, and Lack of Funding. Read more about the Auerbach Global-Impact Foundation here.
