Member Spotlight: Sutter Health Opens New CPMC Van Ness Campus in SF
San Francisco residents now have a modern new hospital at their doorstep as Sutter prepares to open the doors to its new California Pacific Medical Center (CPMC) Van Ness Campus hospital tomorrow (March 1). Bay Area Council CEO Jim Wunderman joined Sutter Health CEO Sarah Krevans and other Sutter leaders at a ribbon-cutting ceremony today (March 1) ahead of the public opening.The facility represents a milestone community investment in the health of San Francisco. The state-of-the-art facility, featuring 11 floors and 274 acute-care beds, houses inpatient services with an emphasis on maternity care, pediatrics, transplant, emergency and cardiac care, among other primary care services. Every detail of the new hospital is geared toward creating an inclusive, healing environment, where high quality, technology, safety, efficiency and personal touches continue to be the norm.
