Chief Diversity Officers Forum Advances Inclusive Workplaces
Management plays a key role in advancing or damaging diversity and inclusion in the workplace. Chief Diversity Officers convened for the second time this year as part of the Bay Area Council’s peer-to-peer working group. The group came together to discuss challenges and successes in scaling Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) programs across their organizations. Key topics in the discussion included specific tools used to increase buy-in from leadership, methods for fostering a sense of belonging for all employees, and ensuring that opportunities to grow are equitable. This closed working group will continue to meet throughout 2020 to discuss best practices, ongoing challenges, and creative solutions to improve D&I programs. If your organization has a Chief Diversity Officer who would like to join, please contact Senior Vice President of Public Policy, Linda Bidrossian.
