Enter and Win: Council Announces #TixforTransit Contest

Bay Area transit systems are continuing to ramp up service and provide reduced fares while also taking strong measures to ensure passenger safety as we emerge from pandemic restrictions. And as more and more people return to work, returning to transit is critical to helping keep down traffic, avoid the wasted time, stress and strain from idling on congested roadways and reduce polluting tailpipe emissions. That’s why the Bay Area Council is partnering with five of the region’s professional sports teams on TixforTransit, a contest starting today where commuters who snap a selfie of themselves on local transit and post it to Twitter will be entered in a raffle to win two tickets to a 49ers, Giants, Warriors, A’s or Earthquakes game. Just include the hashtag #tixfortransit with your post and photo and tag @BayAreaCouncil and you’ll be entered. Contest ends on Friday, July 23 at 12noon. We’ll notify winners by direct message.
