Viewpoint: With World Leaders Coming, SF and Bay Area Can Reset Perceptions

With President Biden, China President Xi Jinping and other top world leaders preparing to
descend on San Francisco in November for the prestigious APEC Leaders Summit, Bay Area
Council Economic Institute Senior Director Sean Randolph says in a commentary appearing this
week in the San Francisco Business Times that it’s an ideal opportunity for the region to reset
negative perceptions about the city and the Bay Area. But, Randolph also notes there’s work to
be done to get our house in order.
