Council Leading Business Delegation to China Nov. 1-8

The Bay Area Council invites you to participate in our upcoming 2023 California Trade Delegation to China on November 1-8, 2023. During this trip, the delegation will visit Beijing and Shanghai to rekindle business relations and explore opportunities to grow exports to our state’s second largest trading partner.

Throughout the trip, the Council will provide the support necessary to ensure your objectives are successfully accomplished. Our offices in Shanghai and Beijing offer a unique combination of resources through subnational government, business, academic, and investor contacts across the country.
 

• The mission will begin in Beijing with a focus on understanding the state of China’s economy through meetings with the US Embassy, Chinese government officials, as well as national associations of importers.  
• In Shanghai, delegates will attend the grand opening of the California Pavilion at the world’s largest import-themed exhibition – China International Import Expo (CIIE) — and meet with representatives and importers from every province in China and every industry. Since 2018, the Council has hosted the California Pavilion to promote our state’s products and generate deal flow for businesses looking to access the world’s second largest economy. 
• Delegation fee of $6,000 includes five-star hotels, all meals, and ground transportation in China.
