RSVP: NY Times SF Bureau Chief Heather Knight Talks SF Present and Future
Her stories and insights are real, infuriating, poignant, uplifting and painful. They reflect the kaleidoscope that is San Francisco and shine an honest light on all the things that make the city somehow simultaneously great and disastrous. After spinning her tales for the San Francisco Chronicle for many years, Heather Knight is now the San Francisco bureau chief for the New York Times, where she said in her inaugural column that she’s “excited to bring the full picture of San Francisco to a national audience and, hopefully, cover the beginnings of a recovery for the city I’ve called home for 24 years.”
Please join the Bay Area Council aboard our floating headquarters, the Klamath, on Oct. 19 from 11 a.m. to 12 noon when Heather sits down with Bay Area Council CEO Jim Wunderman for what promises to be a lively, informative and insightful conversation about the present and future of San Francisco.
