Member Spotlight: KTSF Offers Chinese Language Coverage of APEC Leaders Summit
With San Francisco hosting the APEC 2023 Leaders Summit (see above) in November, KTSF news, having served the Chinese community for the past 34 years, has planned for extensive coverage of the event. In fact, KTSF news has been airing daily coverage of APEC since October 16, letting viewers know what APEC is, its significance to San Francisco and the region, and what to expect next month. Over the next couple weeks, KTSF will expand its APEC news coverage.
From Nov 13-17, KTSF news will do live broadcasts from aboard the Bay Area Council’s floating headquarters, the historic Klamath, in its 7 pm evening news, showcasing the spectacular skyline of San Francisco. KTSF produces live evening newscasts at 7 pm and 10 pm, in Cantonese and Mandarin respectively. Viewers can watch news over the air, or via cable and Direct TV. Both newscasts are also livestreamed on-demand on the Vuit app.
KTSF is the largest Asian-language and Chinese-language broadcast station in the US. It streams news and entertainment programming to 1.5 million Asian Americans in the San Francisco, Oakland, San Jose, and the Northern California Bay Area.
