Council Honors Three Business Legends and Launches New Brand and Logo
By Joe Arellano
Last night, we held our 65th Annual Dinner and Bay Area Business Hall of Fame ceremony at the Westin St. Francis. We had a great group of honorees, including angel investor Ron Conway, Retired Chairman and CEO of Williams-Sonoma Howard Lester, and CEO of Robert Half International Max Messmer.
For those who don’t know, the Bay Area Business Hall of Fame recognizes the extraordinary achievements of individuals and families who have advanced Bay Area-based businesses to positions of national and international prominence and who have enriched the civic life of the Bay Area community.
As a surprise, Warren Hellman had MC Hammer join him to introduce Mr. Conway, which added a great element to the night’s festivities.
In addition to honoring these fine individuals, we were also proud and excited to unveil our new brand and logo. Since the Council is now a global organization, we changed our brand to reflect our new leadership in the connected world.
The new Bay Area Council brand and logo received tremendous applause when it was launched. Check out the launch video Emily Finkel and I put together with Ben Watkins from Big Wonderful Productions.
We’re very proud of it.
