Stage Set for 2021 Annual Dinner and Business Hall of Fame Presented by Kaiser Permanente
The stage is set for a big, in-person return this year of the Annual Dinner and Bay Area Business Hall of Fame presented by Kaiser Permanente. We’re extremely excited to announce our Business Hall of Fame honorees for this year: technology titan John Thompson and Nobel Prize-winning UC Berkeley professor and entrepreneur Dr. Jennifer Doudna.
Thompson is renowned for his tech leadership over five decades, including as CEO of Symantec, Chair of Microsoft, and Partner at Lightspeed Ventures in Menlo Park, among many other top executive roles. For her pioneering work in gene editing, Doudna was awarded the 2020 Nobel Prize in chemistry. She co-founded bioengineering tech startup Mammoth Biosciences and Chairs the Innovative Genomics Institute. Mark your calendars for Thursday, Nov. 18 from 5:30-8:30 p.m. when we’ll be gathering in San Francisco to celebrate these great business and philanthropic leaders. And keep your eyes peeled in the coming weeks for more exciting announcements about this year’s event, including sponsorship opportunities. We’re keeping a close watch on COVID, encouraging everyone to get vaccinated and wear a mask, as necessary, which will allow for a safe return to offices and other in-person activities.
