Council Hosts Brazilian Delegation
On Thursday, July 13, partnering with Stanford University, the Bay Area Council hosted a Brazilian delegation of 30 representatives from public and private sectors, including six governors and many C-suite executives. They came to the Bay Area to learn about its innovation economy, green energy technologies, decarbonization, sustainable design, and climate tech.
Bay Area Council members Jeffrey Heller and Eric Lundquist from Heller Manus Architects, Blake Simmons from Lawrence Berkeley National Lab, and Ron Brown from Port of Oakland gave presentations to the group. The program was followed by a networking reception on the Roof Deck of the Klamath, where participants engaged in insightful conversations while enjoying stunning views of San Francisco.
