Council Announces New Policy Focus on Maritime, Goods Movement
The maritime and goods movement industry is a major driver of economic activity across the Bay Area. It encompasses our ports and airports, our regional ferry system and other marine transportation services and extends to the many logistical, warehouse and other businesses that rely heavily on the maritime and goods movement industry. Against that backdrop, the Bay Area Council is proud to announce the hiring of Emily Loper as Policy Director leading our new maritime and goods movement policy practice. Emily is a seasoned policy professional who previously worked at the Bay Area Council before a stint at the Bay Planning Coalition. We are thrilled to welcome Emily back to the Council.
