Four Straight: Council’s Wunderman Named to Capitol Top 100
Reflecting the Bay Area Council’s continuing strong influence in Sacramento, CEO Jim Wunderman was again named to the prestigious Capitol Weekly Top 100. The annual listing showcases the capitol’s movers and shakers. It’s the fourth consecutive year Wunderman has been named to the list. The Council has worked aggressively in recent years to increase its presence and influence in the state capitol in order to better engage with policy makers on a wide range of critical issues, including housing, transportation and homelessness, among others. The Council operates an office in Sacramento, where Policy Director Cornelious Burke leads our government relations activities. Wunderman and our policy staff regularly appear in Sacramento to engage with the Governor’s administration and legislative leaders, help craft legislation and testify in support or opposition of legislation.
