Executive Committee Gathers at Visa’s Stunning Mission Rock Office

Posted In:

The Bay Area Council’s Executive Committee met last week at Visa’s impressive new space in the Mission Rock neighborhood of San Francisco, a prime example of the growth and development happening in the region. Hosted by Julie Rottenberg and Visa, the meeting offered stunning views of the ballpark and the bay, providing an inspiring backdrop for discussions on the future of the region.

Mission Rock is rapidly transforming into a vibrant mixed-use community, offering significant growth opportunities. The development combines office space, retail, housing, and public amenities such as a beach area, a waterfront park, and pedestrian-friendly spaces. Executive Committee member Larry Baer, CEO of the San Francisco Giants, was in attendance and, alongside the Giants organization, led this visionary project. It took years of planning, negotiation, and development to bring Mission Rock to life, and Larry’s leadership was instrumental in making it a reality. This transformative development will not only strengthen the connection between the ballpark and the surrounding neighborhood but also provide long-lasting benefits to the community.

The meeting also featured a striking display in the lobby: the Visa Formula 1 car. This exciting piece of memorabilia showcased Visa’s global presence and innovative spirit, adding a touch of excitement to the event.

We would like to thank Julie Rottenberg and Visa for giving us the opportunity to see first-hand the impact of this exciting new development at Mission Rock.
