Bay Area Council Welcomes Aaron Hammon as Chief Financial Officer
The Bay Area Council is excited to announce the appointment of Aaron Hammon as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective immediately. Hammon brings a wealth of financial expertise and leadership experience to the organization, further strengthening the Council’s ability to champion economic growth, innovation, and resilience across the Bay Area.
In his role as CFO, Hammon will oversee all financial operations of the Bay Area Council, ensuring fiscal responsibility while driving strategic initiatives that support the organization’s mission. He will play a pivotal role in managing budgets, optimizing financial performance, and aligning resources to advance key programs in business climate, public safety, housing, transportation, homelessness, and tech and innovation.
Hammon joins the Bay Area Council from Behring Co., where he served as Managing Director. In this role, he was responsible for overseeing all operations, finance, and accounting across Behring’s diverse portfolio of businesses. His leadership spanned private equity funds, asset acquisition and management, construction and development activities, and lending operations. Hammon’s strategic oversight was instrumental in driving operational efficiency and achieving strong financial outcomes across these areas.
