Aaron Hammon is the Chief Financial Officer of the Bay Area Council.
Aaron oversees the Bay Area Council’s financial strategy, ensuring fiscal responsibility and sustainable revenue growth to advance the organization’s mission of regional prosperity. He leads budgeting, financial planning, and risk management while collaborating with leadership to drive membership development and innovative revenue streams. His work supports the Council’s commitment to addressing the Bay Area’s most pressing economic and infrastructure challenges.
Prior to joining the Council, Aaron served as Managing Director of Finance and Operations at Behring Co., a real estate private equity firm, where he managed finance, fund administration, and investor relations. His career also spans healthcare technology, where he led financial strategy, corporate development, and large-scale software implementations for hospital systems nationwide.
A Certified Public Accountant since 2007, Aaron holds an MBA from the UC Davis Graduate School of Management and a BS in Business Administration from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. Outside of work, he enjoys staying active with his two children in Contra Costa County and exploring new hobbies.
