Adrian Covert is Senior Vice President of Public Policy for the Bay Area Council, providing research and advocacy leadership for the Council’s committees on climate mitigation, climate resilience, energy, and homelessness. Covert has led numerous successful Bay Area Council initiatives, including state legislation, regional ballot measures, and the Bay Area Council Foundation’s California Resilience Challenge. Adrian also serves as a Board Member of the California Water Data Consortium and is a local lead for Santa Rosa YIMBY.
Adrian received a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from San Francisco State University, plays baseball in the Pacific Coast Hardball League, and writes about old bars—including authoring the 2016 book “Taverns of the American Revolution.”
