Lauren Goode is a Policy Associate for the Bay Area Council, with a focus on homelessness,
transportation, and public safety. She conducts data analysis and drafts reports addressing key
regional issues and measures within both California and the local Bay Area.
Lauren is a recent graduate of Loyola Marymount University, where she earned her Bachelor of
Arts. During her time in undergrad, she was involved in student government and worked in local
politics, gaining valuable experience through internships in the political and legal fields,
including at the House of Representatives. A Bay Area native, she grew up in Richmond, CA,
and is passionate about community engagement and social justice. In her free time, she enjoys
walking her dog, cooking, traveling, and reading.
