U.S. Bank’s Mahesh Kharkar to Co-Chair Workforce Committee

The Bay Area Council’s Workforce of the Future Committee welcomes Mahesh Kharkar, US Bank Northern California Market President of Commercial Banking, as co-chair. Mahesh, who also serves as a Bay Area Council Executive Committee member, brings over 30 years of experience in corporate and commercial banking and international trade, and manages US Bank’s philanthropy efforts in Northern California. Mahesh brings a local perspective, graduating from University of California Berkeley, and previously held leadership roles at Bank of America Merrill Lynch and Wells Fargo.

Mahesh joins Co-Chairs Julius Robinson of MUFG Union Bank and Glenn Shannon of Shorenstein Properties in leading the Workforce of the Future Committee. The Committee is excited to have Mahesh’s leadership and experience driving the growth and direction of its workforce programs throughout the Bay Area.
